In most cases, you won’t need planning permission to build a private outdoor swimming pool. However, it’s always a good idea to check with your local planning authority, as approval may be required in certain situations, such as when the pool could affect nearby buildings or drainage systems.
You should also consult the planning department if your property is a listed building or located in a conservation area. If planning permission is granted but you later decide to change the pool’s location, you must inform the authority and get their consent before construction begins.
Indoor pools are a different matter. Since changes to a property are subject to Building Regulations, planning permission will be required if you are installing a pool indoors.

To support the design process, we can provide photo-realistic computer-generated images, helping you to visualise the finished pool in stunning detail before construction begins.
We design and build a wide variety of custom spas, constructed using concrete, stainless steel, or GRP shells. Each spa is finished with mosaic tiles, chosen to reflect your personal style and complement your pool or interior décor.
Because our spas are fully bespoke, you can specify the number of seats, hydrotherapy jets, and any other features you require. To help you visualise the final design, we can also provide photo-realistic computer-generated images before installation begins.
Yes, we do offer warranties. Upon completion of your pool, we provide the following guarantees for each client:
- A 10-year warranty on pool and spa structures.
- A 3-year warranty covering waterproofing and internal finishes.
- A 1-year warranty on all installed pipework.
- A minimum 1-year warranty on electrical and mechanical equipment, as defined by the manufacturers.
Yes. Once commissioned, we collaborate closely with all involved parties, including the client, architect, main contractor, interior designer, landscaper, and others, working together as a unified team throughout the design and construction of the pool.
Yes, we provide our services across the entire UK. While our base of operations is in Preston, Lancashire, we are happy to work with clients nationwide.
